Born on October 25, 1983, in Havana, Cuba, Adrian Gines discovered his passion for music at the tender age of three. Inspired by his father, a rock musician, Adrian began exploring rhythm during band rehearsals, often retreating to a small room to play a drum set. This early connection to music laid the foundation for a remarkable career.
At age 11, Adrian joined his school band, Los Chicos del Este, initially as a bongocero before transitioning to drummer, showcasing his natural talent and versatility. His professional career took off in Cuba, where he performed with prominent bands such as Sello LA, Paso Firme, and Moneda Dura. With Moneda Dura, Adrian expanded his musical repertoire into the pop genre, solidifying his reputation as a dynamic and adaptable drummer.
In 2011, Adrian relocated to Miami, Florida, where he quickly established himself in the vibrant music scene. He collaborated with renowned artists including Paco Aguilera, Luis Rio, Raúl del Sol, Jose Antonio Quezada, and Aymee Nuviola, showcasing his ability to excel across diverse musical styles. Today, Adrian is the drummer for the iconic Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine as well as Emily Estefan, bringing his infectious energy, technical precision, and deep-rooted passion to audiences worldwide.
With a career spanning over two decades, Adrian Gines continues to inspire through his dedication to rhythm and music, cementing his place as a respected figure in the industry.
